As many of you already know, in August I exhibited the photographs from my decade-long project titled Ceremony: Coming of Age | Mescalero Apache Maidens at Shelby House in Santa Fe. The exhibition contained twenty limited edition archival pigment prints, in various sizes, exquisitely framed, of these sacred and very private ceremonies. The show was well-received, and now several prints are gracing the walls of collectors' homes. I thank you for your support! After the exhibition, many asked: “What’s next?”
I am proud to announce that I have created a new offering of selected images as limited edition prints.
Maiden Dancing, Mescalero Apache Homelands, NM 2014, Edition 1 of 3 measuring 40" w x 30" h was on display and in fact, is still available framed for $1800.
Many people expressed that they would love to own the print, but in a smaller format. Therefore I am releasing Maiden Dancing as an 8” x 5.33” image, printed on 14" x 11" archival paper. Only 15 images of this size will be released, priced at $575 framed or $495 unframed, (you can view the watermarked image below, the print will be signed and editioned). I have selected this image due to the interest it generated, and also because it is especially important to me. I feel it shows the strength and resolve of the young maiden dancing during her sacred ceremony to become a strong woman.
Master printer Mark Berndt meticulously prints each print and the image is float-mounted inside an elegant and simple black frame. If shipped out of state there is no sales tax but shipping is added. Please allow three weeks for delivery.
