RITUAL is an ongoing body of work exploring gesture, presence, and the quiet structures of devotion.

These images by Jan Butchofsky were made across India, Tibet, Bali, Bhutan, and Thailand. The work traces ritual lives not as performance, but as a way of moving through the world—repeated, observed, and held in the body.
